5-Day Amboseli and Tsavo West Wildlife Safari – Big5
Immediately after breakfast, embark on the 3-4 hour journey from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for lunch. After a leisurely early afternoon, we head out for a game drive. Viewing wildlife with the fascinating views of the backdrop of the snow-capped Mountain Kilimanjaro makes Amboseli a real picturesque. Anticipate encountering the large herds of elephants and plains game, buffalos, giraffes, gazelles, lions, and leopards, among others roaming the plains.

Have breakfast and proceed out to explore the Amboseli National Park. On the game drive, look out for wildlife including lions, elephants, buffalos, leopards, zebras, giraffes, antelopes, hyenas, ostriches, and many more. After breakfast, our wildlife exploration continues through dry shrubland, via the great extinct lava flow of Mt Kilimanjaro and the Chyulu Hills to Tsavo National Park. Upon arrival, we shall have lunch and later proceed for an afternoon game-viewing adventure and visit the Rhino Sanctuary which is a haven for the area’s black rhino. The sanctuary offers a rare glimpse of the elusive black Rhinos which have been almost threatened to extinct by poachers since the 1980s.

A full day of game drives in Kenya’s largest park known for its multitudes of elephants. Wildlife species will cheer up your day with the Tsavo like the elephants, Masai giraffes, leopards, and cheetahs, lesser kudus, zebras, dik-diks, lions, among others. Tsavo West also presents a spectacular view of the five cone-shaped hills nested in one area with a resembling structure. We will also visit the Mzima springs, which contribute a lot to the biodiversity of the area and are home to hippos and crocodiles.
